Flushing

In the extraction by flushing a fluid flows through the inside of a closed component to detach the particles of the wetted inner surface and to drag them out.

The method is the practical simulation of a flow-through process. It is use for parts e.g.:

- Pipes
- Filters
- Heat exchangers
- Injektors
- Pumpen
- Ventilen
- Transmissions etc.
Here are the particles collected on a membrane and analyzed.

 

The characteristic parameters such as flow rate, amount of fluid, flushing pressure and flushing time are determinate by the Decay curve
