The extracted particles of a test object are determined by the increase in mass of an analysis filter (final weight – initial weight = mass increase)
For this purpose the filters are weighed before and after the filtration using a precision scale.
Our scale allows us to weigh with a resolution of 0.01 mg.

The gravimetry provides the mass in milligrams of the particulate load, but it does not say anything about the size distribution of the particles.
